Am i ready to loan a horse?

Hi im wondering if im ready to loan a horse im 16 years old and have been riding for 7-8 years. I have worked in yards for aprox 6 ish years doin all the jobs mucking, feeding, gromming etc. Im an experinced rider and has ridden green horses, spookish horses, strong, foward going rearing, bucking etc and i have ridden my mums friends young horses. I have had a few bad falls including when i broke my collar bone and 4 ribs lol but for some reason it didnt scare me to get back up and ride again 6 weeks later. I have always wanted to own a horse but i know it is a very big responsability eventhough loaning is the same big responsability i dont know if i would be ready. My family have no interest in horses and it has taken this long for them to consider to loan a horse for my birthday but they want me to have the full reponsability of the horse i dont mind that but im a little scared to do it on my own and feel that i cant. We have plenty of yards around us so there wont be to far to go and i have taken care of horses for years and we have enough moeny but do you think im ready
