Is my friend gay/bisexual?

I want to know if one of my friends is gay/bi, but can't really tell. He doesn't play sport, although he does karate. He picked art as an elective and is making a dragon sculpture, and he also likes to draw dragons and anime characters (such as a pig with a rainbow trailing behind it (he said it was 'farting it')). He likes pokemon, and also spent a considerable amount of effort in paining one of them in art. Sometimes in the morning when I arrive at school he hugs me from behind, and also sometimes has a muck-around mock fight thingy, with me and another friend, which pretty much consists of us hugging each other, and pushing, dragging each other around or into a corner like this. He also once said 'I love you Midget (my nickname :D)', but I'm not sure if that was just him playing around or being serious. He has said a couple of times (although rarely) that the girl just over there looks nice, so it is possible that he could be bisexual? The reason I am asking is because I am bi-curious, and would like to have a relationship with a guy, and I would prefer it to be this friend. Can anyone help?
