What are some good muscle workouts? ?

I'm 17. I'm 6 ft tall and weigh about 160. I play Rugby and the positions I play are Winger/Fullback. I want to be in better shape this year. So far I've been running around the neighborhood and jumping rump which is only working my cardio. I really want to get more muscle so I can tackle better and ruck better. Any ideas?
