Trouble training a grey hound, please help?

it sounds like hes very frustrated, i have a collie greyhound cross and they need at least two hours walking every day, with lots of running. greyhounds are known as 30 mph couch potatoes as they have a mad half hour when they run like crazy and then sleep all day and are very calm with the right exercise. it is not fair to get a greyhound and then say they are untrainable because nobody takes the time to look after them properly, going out in the garden is not a walk he needs to go for a good long run out in a big field.

What if your braces kept digging into the sides of ur cheek?? Well actually i got my braces 20 days back and the anchors(or whatever the wires go into) fixed onto my molars keep digging into my cheek real bad and at the moment i've got painful deep cuts because of that.. will this persist for the next one year or will it fade with the course of time ? Firstly check with your local council as regards footings depths,in most areas it's 2'.A 600mm wide foundation with a 2x12mm steel reinforced bars running the length of the foundation would do in most cases as your wall will only be 225mm wide and centre the wall itself in the foundation.I wouldn't go laying brick below ground level I would use concrete block(440x215x100mm) and lay the on flat to bring me back up near ground level maybe 75mm or 1 brick below and start my brickwork there as for styles or bonding every client is different and it's they who determine what they want,start you wall in 1 corner and build toward the other end of the wall don't ever build 2 corners first and run it in as you could end up with a piece in the wall which isn't good as for mixing 4:1 sand and cement for the mortar and depending on the wall I'd always use a mixer it's way faster as for the stone same thing build up your block work first and then start just below the ground with the stone but in some cases the foundation has to be wider than 600mm as a lot of stone walls are wider than 225mm and your footing width has to be widened to suit ok,good luck.

Question about puppies dying shortly after birth?

i have a female dog that gave birth to 7 puppies in which 3 of them died with in an hour after being born. 3 days before she had them she squeezed her way out of her pen in a little hole she had dug. could the puppies have been positioned just right and she hurt them somehow when she got out. they woulds not suck and acted like they were gasping for air with a little rattle sound.she had them late last night and the vet is not open today to call and ask about that. we didn't call them last night or take her to the vet because we knew the puppies would not make it anyway

I am a tenant in a housing association property that is riddled with vermin. what are my rights?

i moved in in may last year when signing the tenancy agreement it was already well known that they had an infestation yet they never bothered to telll me this. it is the housing associations fault as these flats were thrown up quickly and the pest control man said they never dug down far enough when they was built and so many coverings left unopen. he then left after few visits saying no more could be done. i fell behing with arrears of only around 300 replacing clothes linen eating out as theres no way you can store or prepare food here as they come out just after u do i have a 4 year old daughter who is terrified of mice and we have spent many evenings away from our home being on lil income paying out to eat out and travel late at night had its effect on what was left to spare coming up to the summer months was just making my arrears up as we can store food at this time of year and they now have decided to take me to court as i spent so long catching up. i feel like im living a nightmare just when i can relax because we are not over run with mice they put this on me what are my rights in court will they accept that i fell behind due to not being able to store or prepare food at home and replacing my childs clothes? whats my best course of action now? by the time i go to court next month all arrears will be paid up but then i will have the court costs!

Pet rabbit going to a sanctuary?

Unfortunately, I'm moving and can't take my rabbit with me. Luckily, he was accepted a lovely sanctuary, where he will live in an outdoor enclosure. He has never been caged or confined to a hutch (he is accustomed to being free range (within a large enclosed area). At the sanctuary, he will live with other rabbit and be free to build burrow. Being that he currently lives on a concrete slab, will he know how? I see him "digging" at things, but I don't know if burrow-making is innate.

Ok, so I am 13 and a half in year 8. There is this guy and a little while ago I found that he was like obsessed with me for the whole of last year, when we were in year 7. American Football Position Suggestions for Defense and Offense?

Hi :) I'm currently Sophomore and will be playing for Varsity next year(1st year), and I just wanted ask people/players which position would be most suitable for me. Right now, I am playing as a D-lineman(nose guard, since it's my first year so I thought being in defense would be a good start) but I still want to know my potentials. Right now I weight 200 pounds and can run 5.1(no gears) in 40 yd dash and I'm about between 5'8 and 5'9. I dont mind blocking for others but I personally like running with the ball. Many suggest that losing weight in fball is not a good idea, but I'm planning to lose weight to 185 or around there and increase speed. HOW TO CARE FOR CALLA LILLIES IN VEGAS?

I recently moved to Las Vegas (zone 9-10) and I'm not sure how to care for my calla lilly bulbs in the extreme heat. Its only June but the leaves have all dried out and withered away. I've read about how the bulbs should be stored in cold climate to avoid freezing, but what about protecting them against extreme dry heat? Paint that my dog won't eat?

I have 2 dogs, 1 boy and 1 girl. They are both 7 months old. When they are separate they usually don't do this, but when they are together they do... they eat holes in the walls. I think that too much, since you're space in college is sooo tiny. And boots take up so much space too. With boots bring the muck and show, and then pick your favorite out of the others. With wedges how about the black and the silver. Heels black and red. The white sneakers. You may be able to take all the flats and flip flops just cause they don't take up a lot of space. Fullback or Center in Football?

If you're faster than the current fullback and he's stronger than you, just flip positions, he should provide better blocking up the middle and allow you more space as a full back to run or go through the hole as a lead blocker (unless he has terrible blocking technique and just can't block at all, in which case you should have your pick of the 2 positions). Also, it sounds like you have the speed to move to outside linebacker and possibly be even better than you are in the middle (especially if you're a good pass rusher).

In all honesty, the Heat could have easily swept the Dallas Mavericks. Game 2: the Heat were up by 15 with 7 minutes to go, then they gave the game to the Mavs in a gift wrapped box. I used to be outside center, and now im the fullback. they said it was so we can use me for more plays and its a really important position, but i feel like i was demoted. I'm the fastest besides fly, and we worked plays, but would you say the fullback is a step down?

I think fullback would be perfect for you, you just will have to handle the pounding that can come with the position. If you've played RT, then blocking should come more natural to you, and that should be your first focus for the running back behind you. A blocking FB can easily become a running backs' best friend. Plus FB runs are not used as often as they use to be, so when they are it can often surprise the defense and get decent yardage.

Im sooooooo confused?

Ok i had the implant removed on the 28th march 2011 had a period from the 28th until the 4th april... DTD with OH numerous times.. Aprils AF was due the 28th April didn't turn up and now May's AF was due today but hasn't shown up but I have been getting BFN on the tests and I have tried the one that tells you 4 days before your period is due.... could the implant removal be mucking me around? Here's the deal, I've been fat/chubby all my life ( I'm 15 ) and I really want to be skinny or at least slim down. I'm 5'8 175-180 lbs. I don't think exercising is a big problem to me but I'm not the kind of person to run laps. Instead I play basketball with friends on the team and I played fullback for football last season so I could say I'm pretty athletic for being chubby/fat, but it's not enough for me. I get called fat sometimes and I hate it, because all my friends are skinny and I want to be better looking also. I think a big problem is eating a lot for me. I tend to eat A LOT I have no idea why. At McDonald's I'd typically get at least 2 burgers with fries and a drink, while I see my friends just get one burger. I ate less for a week and I noticed I dropped down to 170, but my eating habits got to me again and now I feel huge and bloated also and now im back to 176 in one week. I feel like I can drop the weight, it's just I can't stop eating so much. What can I do? I've been over eating for so many years now, I'm surprised I'm not obese right now.

I recently broke up with my boyfriend, Tom, who beforehand had been one of my best friends. I'm 16 and he is 18 (nearly 19) so he'll be going off to uni in september. Anyway we were incredibly close but we were both in relationships with other people, and he broke up with his girlfriend of 18 months about a fortnight after I broke up with my boyfriend of five months. After our break ups we became even closer and twenty days after I broke up with my ex, Tom and I were at a mutual friends party and he admitted to liking me and wanted to be with me. I was shocked that he liked me because I honestly wasn't expecting it at all but I was still pretty hung up over my ex, however I agreed to see how things went with Tom before we made anything official. A few days later we got together and it was pretty much the perfect relationship, everything was going smoothly, no problems, no arguments, we were happy. Then after a month all of a sudden he just broke the relationship off, for no defiant reason. I was completely in shock, as was everyone else because it was so out of the blue, not even his closest friends were expecting it. Even though we only spent a month together, this break up hurt more than my five months with the other guy, probably because Tom actually treated me so much better and acted like a boyfriend should. Everyone has said to me, he'll get back with you eventually he just needs time to think but I don't think that's the case, I think we were so much better as friends, so much better, and even though I loved being in a relationship with him, part of me during that time was saying: This is Tom, he's one of my best friends. With the physical abuse and bullying you experienced when you were younger it is no doubt linked with how you are feeling now. Perhaps you subconsciously want to get back at everyone and show them that you are no one to be messed with. It takes a lot of self effort but you should first off stop looking at the pictures and stuff like what you linked. The chance of you killing someone luckily isn't that high but don't put yourself in a bad position and stay away from like kitchen knives and whatever (I used to feel like I could just pick up one and stab my mother..yeah I know I had problems too). I understand the situation that you are in but you have to remember all the other things. Who has to pay for the horses feed, tack, vet bills etc. Even though people consider buying a horse the great expense but actually maintaining one is much greater. Also will you always have time to care for it with friends, exams, and holidays? Your parents are also probably worried about keeping your life in balance. If it is a twenty minute drive it will take at the very least 2 times as long meaning there and back would take one hour and twenty minutes. Would it be possible to take public transport especially if it is available and free for people your age? Furthermore after caring for the other horses would you still have enough time to travel there get home and be able to do your homework, sleep and eat. On weekends would you still have time to see your friends. Ask your mum if it would be possible to take your instructor or another experienced person with you to make sure that this horse is even a possibility. Also you could see if you could lease him with another person so you would have less responsibility.

Can chlorine tablet on the bottom of above ground pool damage the liner?

I am trying to clear up a seriously green above ground pool. I am following my distributors instructions. Part of those instructions was to put a floating chlorinator in the pool, I tried to get in the middle of my pool by tossing it. Well.......of course it tipped over and all the tabs floated to the bottom. I was able to retrieve one by dragging the bottom with a skimmer, but the other three remain hidden in the green muck! American football is not my thing and neither is English football come to that and I am English. However I read your story and the writing is fine. The dialogue is a bit strange to me as is it is obviously in the local dialect and I couldn't make up my mind whether the person telling the story was black or white. Itunes muck up, help!?

I deleted my entire Itunes library folder by accident. I had two folders, an old one from when my computer needed to be fixed and then a newer one after. I thought it was the old one I was deleting but no it turned out to be the new one,the one that I liked. It's possible. The fact that you have experience in football is a plus, and you must be really strong if you were able to play DE at 5'11''. You would probably have to be a defensive minded PG in basketball, and you could probably take advantage of smaller guards by backing them down into the post. It's never too late, but you would have to really bring your A game to prove yourself as a walk on at a D2 college.

Tbh Kev for me he comes and goes, Sunday was not a great game, he has probably had his best season though but most of his form was at the start when he was blinding. He's coming back from injury (again) too so he might pick up again before the end of the season.

None of those things matter compared to what you do on the field, but even those statistics don't seem all that great for a Varsity level player, even in High School divisions which are not powerhouses. If your only 15 don't rush it and take your time, you will still develop strength fast at your ago so shoot to make Varsity as a junior and to start on it as a Senior.

My horse just developed awful manners on cross ties! help!?

I've had him since he was five (he's ten now) and has always been an angel on cross ties. Within the past week or two, however, he has been getting progressively worse when left alone on them. He mostly just paws at the ground and dances around a bit, but I left him alone for two minutes yesterday and he broke his halter and got loose. Then I put him on cross ties inside and he kicked and broke a muck bucket. This was all after I rode him, although he was pawing at the ground before I rode him as well. I'm pretty sure it's not the flies, I've made sure he has tons of fly spray on. He behaves fine as long as someone is doing something to him- he is perfect while being groomed, tacked up, and bathed, it only happens when he's left alone or I'm not paying attention to him. What could have caused this and what can I do to fix it?

Fullbacks height doesn't matter a ton, they succeed from 5'8 to extremely tall. They are almost always very strong though. They are by far the most underrated position, they have to have good strength, speed, leverage, catching, blocking, running, and more.

This is a great question. There are so many great players, but i would definitely have to pick Bruce Matthews. Even though he was an OL, he was the definition of versatility, playing every spot on the line. He played with his team for two decade, showing huge devotion to his city, and his team. I also love the Titans, and he's our new HC, and Hall of Famer.

Don't negotiate for a lower wage based on your boarding fees (if you board there) as if may screw you up in the long run if you move your horses. OK so I am moving on to varsity football next year because I am going to be a junior I am 15 because I'm young for my grade. I am 6'1" and weight about 180. I don't know my Max in much but my Max bench is about 180 and I'm going to be lifting. In my recent years playing football in fullback we run a full which is the basic qb fb and RB straight back. I did alright in jv playing fb but it was just my first year play that position and I succeeded in throught my weight around going hard and getting a head full of steam. I run like a 5 flat 40 meter dash so I'm not her fast. My coach is telling. Me in varsity I have to be looking for my cutback lanes and other things. I want to try and go to a d2 college for football but I need some tips. Some games I would get 3 td's. A game and usually every extra point going for two so I was quite successful but that was just jv. And on lb I was also successful I had plenty sacks force fumbles and hits. But I was finding my self getting kind of siked out. What I mean is I would be back their and then once they would hand the ball off I would find myself flat footed or else I would overpersue and he would cut back. I'm paid by the day. I get $50 per day assuming I do all the chores. There are 6 stalls and 16 horses (some live outside). I feed and turn out, do the stalls, bring in and feed. Basically I do everything. It takes about 5 hours so I guess I get paid $10 and hour.

Underground water in my backyard. What/where is this from?

I recently dug three holes in my backyard to install an arbor. One hole has filled with water. After emptying the water, I could see water streaming back into the hole. Within two hours, it had fill with 12.25 inches of water. I dug two of the holes 36 inches deep, but the hole with the water is about 20-22 inches deep. I decided to stop in order to figure out where the water is coming from before proceeding. I understand that I may be able to use products to get around the water and continue with the arbor installation, but I would like to know where the water is coming from. Is this normal? What I don't understand is why the blocking runningback is called the "fullback", when he stands in front of the "halfback" to block. Wireless mouse suddenly losing signal/range?

I have a logitech wireless mouse/keyboard combo (not even sure of the model..it's about 5 years old) and the mouse has suddenly (within the last 24 hours) lost it's range almost entirely. It was working fine one moment and then it began not moving/responding when clicking. I've determined that the receiver is fine, as the keyboard still works from over 10 feet away, however the mouse won't respond if it's further than 12 inches from the receiver. I've tried it on another computer and the results are the same...interference isn't an issue, it's the mouse itself. I've tried changing batteries, I've cleaned every nook and cranny to make sure something isn't somehow mucking up the internal radio...am I stuck with having to buy a new mouse? Like I said, the keyboard maintains its range, meaning that the receiver itself and interference aren't the issue.

I used to self mutilate (I don't say cut because I never used a knife). Use swim (basically a quick overhand swipe on his arms) and rip moves with your arms. I suggest watching some plays of good NFL lineman and take note on some of their moves. Granted dwight freeney's spin move may be above your skill level (as it is for about everyone). but u can learn good technique and moves by watching the best in the world do it. Hope this helps. O and for the first part, just hit the weight room and put on some more weight, as once you become bigger and more physical you wont be getting hit and thrown of balance nearly as easily. American Football Position Suggestions for Offense and Defense?

Hi :) I'm currently Sophomore and will be playing for Varsity next year(1st year), and I just wanted ask people/players which position would be most suitable for me. Right now, I am playing as a D-lineman(nose guard, since it's my first year so I thought being in defense would be a good start) but I still want to know my potentials. Right now I weight 200 pounds and can run 5.1(no gears) in 40 yd dash and I'm about between 5'8 and 5'9. I dont mind blocking for others but I personally like running with the ball. Many suggest that losing weight in fball is not a good idea, but I'm planning to lose weight to 185 or around there and increase speed. Gardening Machinery Question?

For this process, you will need a shovel with a pointed tip, a garden rake should be short, fixed tines and a tiller it comes in a wide range of sizes. You need a tiller that goes at least 6 inches deep. Before you start your process, mark you garden corners with stick, rock or stake, then start digging up the land, but make sure to dig as deep as your shovel will allow. Pry up the chunk of earth with the shovel and separate it from the rest of the ground. Turn the chunk of earth upside down and put the grass down into the hole you just created and repeat the process until you dug up your entire plot, then run the tiller over the garden plot, to break up the large chunks of dirt. After that, you can pick out the remaining unbreakable chunks by hand. Use garden rake to clear it out, again run the tiller several times over the garden going deeper every time. He's definitely got potential. No-one can argue that. Though, he has played only a handful of first grade games and not all of those were in the fullback position. NZ don't really have any other viable options. Nightingale could play fullback but he's one of the best wingers in the NRL at the moment. If they are grooming him for the eventual fullback spot, he can offer more than Lance eventually. But Australia certainly has the upper hand in the fullback position.

Ok firstly in July I will have had my period 2 years and for the most part it was regular. Like 2-3 months ago I was riding a dirtbike and had to bail because the throttle stuck. When I landed I landed on my right hip and had scrapes on my arms and back and stuff, but anyways the bruise on my hip was the size of like a softball and it went away in about a week.The bruise was in my hipbone area and didn't go into my lower belly or anything like that. Now there is just a scar where the button on my jeans dug in. I'm kinda going off topic but ever since then I really haven't had a period. For like a week I get REALLY HEAVY discharge that is clear but smells wierd. I live in the desert and whenever I wear a liner I smell it so I was thinking maybe it was the heat making it smell like that. I've taken the liner off and smelt nothing but had to put one back on because I don't wanna feel wet and I know its gross but I smelled the tissue once and didn't smell anything either.And after I crashed I didn't bleed or anything down there or have pains,or anything abnormal. Now I just get really heavy discharge for a week and yeah... I made a comment to my mom about not having a period ever since I crashed ( I didn't tell her about the discharge and liner and stuff..it's too embarassing) and she said I should go to the drs. Do you think this is just a short term thing and my cycle will go back to normal and if I should go to the drs? I wanna be healthy but I don't wanna be felt and probed on. Ladies and men, do most men trim the hair on and near their rear? I am wondering if other wives have husbands who do not and what percentages exist. Why do I not care about my friends?

Well I just to know why I don't care about most people. Even my friends, I generally don't care about them in the long run. I feel like I have a lack of motivation to be friends with people or to get a girlfriend, mainly cuz I don't care about them. Don't get me wrong, I am not a pothead and am very motivated in sports. CatSitting...cat acting strange. HELP?

So me and my roommates are watching a friend's cat and she's acting strange. The first day she seemed fine, she was eating, exploring, purring etc. She followed us around rubbing our legs and everything. That all changed this morning. She had jumped up on the stove and pooped (which its owner said she wouldn't do) and I sat down and was scratching her head behind her ears. She was stretching and purring. All of a sudden she dug her claws into my hand and bit me, growled an ran under the love seat. Any time we try to approach her-or even LOOK at her-she hisses and growls and takes clawed swipes at us. What's going on here? And how do we calm her down? I don't want her owner thinking someone hurt her cat because we've been nothing but caring and affectionate. And I was only petting/scratching her head in the spot she likes so it doesn't seem like she got pissed because I touched a tender spot on her. I'm really freaked out. What do we do?
